Our weekend retreat is a time of celebrating the way of life on the Path. This includes Silent sitting, guided meditation, teachings, active meditations, dancing, feasting and on this course Christic initiation through the healing power of water. When we take this initiation we want to undertake a commitment to follow the Way and the two great commandments as outlined by Jesus Christ.

'Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."'

The two commitments of Christ are the essence of Dzochen practice or non-duality. Christ was a master of non-duality, being in the world and not of the world.
