100 Days of Lojong

September 6th - December 8th 2023

On this course we studied the mystical teachings of Jesus Christ. Specifically, how to integrate the realisation of non-duality with the path of love, transforming suffering on to the spiritual path, special meditation practices on opening to love, as well as tried and tested guidelines for how to maintain conduct in the world.

Noah Samarkand has kindly created the following Christ Sadhana, which is our main daily practice throughout the 100 Days of Lojong course. The word Sadhana refers to a dedicated practice, or Prayer in this case to Jesus Christ, or Isa Masih as he is sometimes referred to in the Sufi world. The Sadhana itself is compiled using Holy Scripture which is cited at the bottom of the Sadhana for reference.

The audio is a beautiful piece of music/soundscape created by our Sangha. This allows us to sing the Sadhana out loud, an important element in the practice. Please use the audio and Sadhana in combination.

God bless.

More information on the courseā€¦

We will be looking at the mystical teachings on the path of love. Jesus Christ is one of the patron saints of the non-dual lineage of the perennial tradition. Through special tantric lineage blessings of the Yoga of Christ we will be engaging in practical meditations on love. On the course we will explore the teachings of many mystics, the core text we will focus on, will be 'the seven point heart opening' by the mystical genius Atisha. Through this text we will look at how to deepen our understanding of non-dual awareness, the realisation of no-self. How to integrate the realisation of non-duality with the path of love. Special meditation practices on opening to love and transforming suffering on to the spiritual path. As well as tried and tested guidelines for how to maintain conduct in the world.

Jesus Christ is the exemplar of these teachings. The essence of it was summed up by him as 'To be in the world but not of it.' It is the integration of love and awareness. The spirit and flesh. Form and emptiness. If you would like to join us in regular sessions on these special teachings and practical methods and meditations please get in touch. Anyone is welcome to join who has a wish for their spiritual life to be more than just an intellectual pastime.

About Harmony of the way: This is a non-dual school in the Perennial tradition. That is: our main focus is on the inner path. We embrace all the mystical teachers. Our main sources of refuge, inspiration and lineage transmission are: Padmasambhava, Atisha, Jesus Christ, Ibn Arabi and Rumi. Our aim is to transmit the truth, as it is, without the need for religious dogma or rhetoric. We also use various meditation practices and methods that come from traditional sources. In the days of mass information it can be good practice to join a community who have their teachings passed down to them person to person for generations.
